Sam Petrecky
Interim Chief Financial Officer
Sam is the Interim CFO for Aiga Capital Partners. He has 20 years of experience in the finance industry working primarily in the private equity space for fund managers and fund administrators. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President of Fund Accounting with Phoenix American Financial Services providing fund accounting services and consultation for alternative investment funds focused on venture leasing, private debt, buyout, and real estate funds. At Phoenix American, he built out the fund accounting platform, growing the client base from two to over fourteen active clients, and oversaw the administration of over $2 Billion in alternative investment funds. Prior to joining Phoenix American, Sam worked with Gen II Fund Services, Alternative Investment Solutions, LLC, and Vista Equity Partners focusing on private equity credit and debt hedge funds. Sam’s experience in the alternative energy space began as a Sr. Fund Accountant with Sungevity where he oversaw the accounting, investor reporting, and lease administrators for six tax equity solar leasing funds. While with Sungevity, he studied emerging energy technologies including, photovoltaics, producing natural gas from shale, and battery technologies through a certificate program at Stanford University. Sam has received a B.A. in Urban and Regional Planning from The University at Albany, and a M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from Stetson University.
